Best Christmas toys 2011 seem to be falling into four categories. And by focussing on the best selling Christmas toys in these categories you can be sure that any gift(s) from the list you select will be very well appreciated. Boys and girls are much the same the world over when it comes to toys. They are the experts, they know what they like, so it's no surprise that there are always clear best selling toys every Christmas that seem to out do other toys on offer. Right now, the best Christmas toys 2011 are in the following categories.
Action Toys. These are always popular of course because young guns like to join in their favorite TV and movie series. Particularly hot this year are the Star Wars Clone Trooper Voice Changer Helmet, Star Wars Clone Wars Ultimate Light Saber, Bakugan Brawlers Battle Pack, EyeClops Night Vision Infrared Goggles, and my favorite, the Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 Blaster - Yellow.
Dolls. But no ordinary dolls. Dolls that children can interact with in a playful but educational way. Dolls such as Baby Alive Learns To Potty, Baby Alive Baby Go Bye Bye, Little Mommy Gotta Go Doll, and Hannah Montana Holiday Singing Doll.
Board Games. Board games are making a big comeback this year. According to Amazon, the best selling games are Blokus Classic, Cat In The Hat - I Can Do That!, Apples To Apples Party Box, Candy Land Castle Game and Scrabble Diamond Anniversary Edition.
Furry Animals. With technology today, old time favorite furry animals have almost become living creatures. Children can now interact with their animal friends. Super examples of this are Fur Real Friends Biscuit My Lovin' Pup and Elmo Live! by Fisher-Price.
But these are just some of the examples of top toys 2011 within each category. There are many more to consider. But the key point is that at Christmas time and particularly as close to Christmas as we are now, any best selling Christmas toys are in danger of selling out. It happens every year, children get disappointed.

This is the most stable R/C helicopter for the price that I've encountered. With a good charge, and a good set of batteries in the remote, this thing is nimble and quick and -- most importantly -- it's stable enough to fly around the office (once you get the hang of the controls). The frame is metal, making it a tad more durable than typical machines. My helicopter finally appears to need some tuning after more than a few clumsy crashes. At $25, I wasn't TOO careful, and I think with the right tweaks, I could get it flying straight again. It's stable, it's relatively cheap, and if you're careful with it, the helicopter will last a while. read more review on Syma S107 R/C Helicopter >>
Melissa and Doug Deluxe Standing Easel
What They Said:
This easel is a great buy! Very sturdy and high quality as most of mellisa and doug products. Colorful, kid friendly and easy to put together. Both the writing boards and the trays are adjustable for the height of your child. It folds up easy, but stands strong. This easel DOES have a place for a paper roll!! I did not think it did by the amazon description (I almost bought a more expensive one for the paper roll but decided to go with this and am so glad I did)... more reviews >>
I bought this easel as part of the classroom, I set up for my preschooler. I love the adjustable size, durability and ease of use. My only complaint was the chalkboard. Though I followed the priming instructions diligently, I found that even the good chalk scratched the board and did not write well. Melissa and Doug did reply immediately to my concern and were willing to do whatever necessary to correct the problem. next reviews >>
This easel works very well and is easy to put together, but is also much better looking than others I have seen for a comparable price. We gave this to my daughter at 20 months (younger than the suggested age) and she loved it right away. However, even at the lowest setting she can't draw to the top, which frustrated her unless she stood on a step stool -- guess that's why it's better for age 3+. get standing easel details >>
